Maharashtra SSC result 2017: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced the results of the Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC) exams 2017 today, that is, June 13 at 1 pm. Students who have appeared for the state boards can check their results on the official websites — http://www.sscresult.mkcl.org, examresults.net, maharashtraeducation.com, knowyourresult.com, rediff.com/exams, jagranjosh.com. The students can access the result and http://www.sscresult.mkcl.org
Among the districts, Konkan has registered the highest pass percentage with 96.18 while the second highest is Pune with 91.95 per cent. Mumbai scored 90.09 per cent. A total of 14,58,855 students appeared for the exam out of which, as many as 250562 students were from Pune.
In Nagpur, a total of 174805 students have appeared out of which 146257 have passed with a passing percent at 83.67. Among repeaters, a total of 47630 have appeared with passed the exam among which 23065 boys and 10312 have passed.
In April, about 186 answer sheets were stolen from the assessment centre in Dahisar. The Board has decided to assign average marks to the missing answer sheets. About 17,66,098 candidate appeared in Class 10 board exams this year in the state, which is an increase of 2.23 per cent of the students who appeared last year. Among those who registered, 9,89,908 were boys and 7,76,190 were girls. The minimum marks needed to clear the Class 10 exams is 35 per cent of the total score of each subject.

Last year, nearly 17 lakh students appeared for the exams across the state from the nine divisions in the state which include Pune, Amravati, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Nashik, Latur and Konkan divisions. The percentage was 89.56 per cent.
